Honolulu Young Adults officially launched their very first gathering at the beginning of 2025, birthed out of the vision and dedication of Angie and Peter Kim. Their heart is to bring the message of Jesus to the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa while also strengthening the Inspire Honolulu campus under the leadership of Location Pastor, DJ Garces.
Today, Honolulu Young Adults continues to meet weekly on the UH Mānoa campus, carrying a strong vision to see revival break out among students and young adults across the island. The story is only beginning, but Honolulu Young Adults is already leaving an undeniable impact on their city and their generation.

Ministry Leaders Young Adults Honolulu
HNL Young Adults began humbly, with just a handful of young adults gathering for connection at Angie and Peter’s home. What started as a living-room-sized group of about 15–20 quickly grew beyond capacity, and in just a short time, the community expanded to more than 60 young adults regularly meeting on Tuesday nights for Connect Groups and meaningful fellowship.
In September 2025 the Honolulu Young Adults Team worked tirelessly to take the ministry to the very heart of the city’s next generation: the UH Mānoa campus. On September 30th, they hosted their very first YA Night on campus, where over 170 university students and young adults showed up to worship, connect, and encounter God together. This powerful night marked a milestone for the ministry, proving that the hunger for Jesus and genuine community among young people in Honolulu is real and growing.
