MEET MIKE & LISA KAI

Pastors | Waikele Location

From humble beginnings in 2001 to a thriving multi-site congregation, Pastors Mike and Lisa Kai are passionate about building the Church. They are visionary leaders with hearts to advance the Kingdom of God by reaching people, making disciples, and multiplying leaders.

Pastor Mike believes that “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind can comprehend what God has for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9),” and out of this conviction has sparked the emergence of the Equip and Inspire Network. Each year, the Network hosts the Arise Women’s Conference, Kingdom Man Conference, and the Equip and Inspire Conference, which empower people from across the Hawaiian Islands, US Mainland, and Internationally.

Mike and Lisa reside in Honolulu and are the proud parents of three daughters and two grandchildren. Mike has traveled to speak at conferences and to congregations all over the world and conducts pastor’s and leader’s round tables nationally and internationally. Mike is the author of The Pound for Pound Principle and Plateaus, and Lisa is the author of Perfectly You.

You will be greeted by friendly faces who would love to connect with you, but if you just want to come in quietly and be as anonymous as possible, we'll respect that too!

Attending church on Sunday is only one part of your walk with God. Getting connected to a small group, or what we call “Connect Groups,” is where you can build lasting friendships, get encouraged in your faith, and grow in your spiritual walk. We’ve got young adult groups, mens groups, women groups and common interests groups to choose from.

If you're looking to grow your understanding of the Bible, or get equipped in your Christian walk, we have classes offered at various times of the year through our Train Ministry. If you're new in your faith, or want to continue in your spiritual growth, we encourage you to join our Foundations Class.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We love your kids! At Inspire Waikele, our Inspire Kids ministry offers fun and engaging children’s programs for kids 6 months - 8th grade. Your kids will learn about the Bible and make lifelong friends.

FAQ

What precautions are the church taking to provide a safe environment?

We are taking every precaution to ensure that Inspire Church is safe, secure and spacious for you and your family. We have already taken measures to sanitize our buildings in Waikele and Mililani with state of the art dry fog technology and at all locations after each service we disinfect and provide hand sanitizers for your convenience.

Will there be programs for my children?

YES! We have something for EVERY age! Inspire Kids Program - 6months to 5th grade; JRHI service - 6th to 8th grade (Saturdays at 5pm, Sundays at 8:45am, 10:30am, 12:15pm); SRHI service - 9th to 12th grade will be on WEDNESDAYS @6pm. Our SRHI students are encouraged to sit in with their parents on the weekend for services. Our Inspire Kids program is open 15 minutes prior to every service for you to check in your kids with enough time to still grab a seat in the sanctuary! We do ask that if you are new, you arrive a few minutes early and our on-site team will get you set up.

What if I don't want to bring my child to Inspire Kids?

As always, you’re welcome to bring your little ones who may want to stick with you inside the sanctuary. Please provide your child with a quiet activity (ex: coloring books, iPad w/ headphones, books etc…) so they can be occupied during the message portion of the service. If your child continues to be restless (ex: crying, talking, playing), parents will be advised to sit in the Family Area. This is to ensure that all parties are provided with the best experience while receiving the word. Please be gracious to one another.

What will parking look like at service?

Parking will remain the same both in front of the church or in our overflow areas! Reserved stalls will be available for First Time attendees and for anyone needing assistance. Shuttle service is available before, in-between, and after services! Please adhere to any signs that say "No Church Parking", this is so we can continue to be good neighbors to those next to our building in the shopping center.

It’s my first time, what should I expect?

Follow any one of our Parking Dream Team members and posted signs to our parking areas and shuttle stops. Once you arrive at the church, let one of our greeters or team members know and they will be happy to lead you to the sanctuary or kids check-in area. From there, our Usher team will help you find your seat in the sanctuary.
